Lions Tour of NZ 2nd Test

here are the highlights of one of the classic matches played between the british and irish lions and the all blacks. esp watch how the all blacks play, it will blow you away.

forwards: pay attention to the lions' pack, this is as good as you get as a forward pack goes.
backs: just let the all blacks backline blow your head off. also pay attention to the guy in the black no.10 jersey. if you dunno who he is, you ought to shoot yourself.

a good forward pack is where you see all the forwards' work rate are all incredibly high. e.g. they're at the break down every single time, strong defence, etc. and technically wise, at line-outs/ scrum time, they're able to control the game. you need quality forwards and also really good team work.

a good backline is more obvious in a sense that the backs can run with the ball in hand and put tries after tries on the board. it comes from both individual brilliance, per "that gay black no.10", and a good understanding of one another. e.g. see how they chase every high ball? see how the form the line and never miss a tackle? see how they always exert pressure on the opposition? see how slick/sick their passing/handling is? see how they always seem to have a few players supporting when one person breaks through the defence? see how they always manage to offload in a tackle? see how they work together to score those amazing tries? there you have it, a good backline in a nutshell.

- 4.00pm to 7.00pm
- rain or shine

- bring boots, mouth guard, and training attire

- meet at 4pm or earlier at Hugo's class bench
- pls sms russell, hugo or shawn if you are unable to attend training, a valid excuse must be provided
- start doing warm up on your own and be ready for training

- 1 hr of weights at salt centre
- 1 hr of running and exercises at the terraces
- remaining time to be used on ball skills and techniques

There will now be a monthly collection of $10 to pay for fees such as the food after weights.

2)		Attire
-		Boots whenever on the field
-		Proper attire (no uniform)

3)		Punctuality/Attendance
-		Be punctual
-		Fully warmed up before training starts
-		Full attendance unless with valid reason (exco notified 2 days in advance)
-		If unwell, sit out for training but must be present

4)		Match-day
-		Show no mercy
-		Give the opponents nothing but take from them EVERYTHING
