Hi ppl, here's the 2nd piece of good news.

If all goes well, we'll be able to get the jerseys in around 3 days AFTER i get the money and PAY them.

Our all-blacks jersey looks similar to the one in my display pic :D. it's black shirt with white collar

The jersey size is the same as your pe shirt size, shorts should be around the same as the sch pe shorts too, and the cost.......haha i shall keep it private first, but pls pay up the $50 ASAP and i'll give u back your refund after getting the jerseys.

Sooo, pls post comments abt ur size and number for JERSEYS and SHORTS and NAMES (in case it's free too). alex help me compile k?

P.S. the previous post u all gave ur shorts sizes in numbers, not XL/L/M, that's why i need to compile again
P.P.S. forgot to tell u guys, pls include the names u all want to put IF printing names does not have extra cost. AND ALSO, pls tell me if you ALREADY HAVE socks and DO NOT wish to have another pair.

High school Sabbaticals

ok guys, this is THE one.

looking for a week where we can just play rugby and leave the rest of ur classmates studying in vain?

this is THE BIG one.

I cordially welcome you to......... The Hwa Chong Institution High School Section Term 3 Sabbaticals !!! (FYI, it's week 9, 18th-23rd aug)

The plan to initiate/start/host a sabbatical in high sch has now been preliminary APPROVED, and due to the late notice and the imminent deadline ( today is the deadline for submission of the application form AND to find a teacher mentor, and i only knew about it yesterday), Mr Ken Toh, a former HC rugger-cum-current pe teacher, has kindly agreed to be our teacher mentor :D.

This is the 0th/1st/2nd step in a bid to recruit more people to join rugby, so let's give it our all :D

Keep your eyes fixed on this space people, more great news coming up.....

Reporting, over and out

P.S. FYI, i've just recruited a prop-sized junior for our sabbac, and he has expressed interest in joining rugby :D

The Team

" ...when you get old in life, things get taken from you. that's just part of life. you only learn that though when you start to lose those things. that's when you find out that life's a game of inches, as is rugby. because in either game, the margin for error is so small. one half step too late or too early, and you don't quite make it; one half second too slow or too fast and you don't quite catch it. the inches we need are everywhere around us. they are in every break of the game, every minute, every second. in this game we fight for that inch. in this game we tear ourselves and everyone else around us to pieces for that inch. we claw with our fingernails for that inch because we know that when we add up all those inches, it's going to make the difference between winning and losing, between living and dying. and i tell you this: in any fight it's the man who's willing to die who is going to win that inch. the six inches in front of your face, you've got to look at that man next to you, look into his eyes. now i think you're going to see a man who will go that inch with you. you're going to see a man who will sacrifice himself for the team because he knows when it comes down to it you're going to do the same for him. that's the definition of a team. and either we play as a team, or we die as individuals. "

FITNESS first:
make use of the holidays to enhance your level of fitness- jog/weights etc. on your own and ensure that you can last at least half match(40 minute) when January approaches
