ok guys, this is THE one.
looking for a week where we can just play rugby and leave the rest of ur classmates studying in vain?
this is THE BIG one.
I cordially welcome you to......... The Hwa Chong Institution High School Section Term 3 Sabbaticals !!! (FYI, it's week 9, 18th-23rd aug)
The plan to initiate/start/host a sabbatical in high sch has now been preliminary APPROVED, and due to the late notice and the imminent deadline ( today is the deadline for submission of the application form AND to find a teacher mentor, and i only knew about it yesterday), Mr Ken Toh, a former HC rugger-cum-current pe teacher, has kindly agreed to be our teacher mentor :D.
This is the 0th/1st/2nd step in a bid to recruit more people to join rugby, so let's give it our all :D
Keep your eyes fixed on this space people, more great news coming up.....
Reporting, over and out
P.S. FYI, i've just recruited a prop-sized junior for our sabbac, and he has expressed interest in joining rugby :D

3 things here.
first, jun zhe has designed a Polo Tee for Old Boys... a brilliant and cool t-shirt as shown below. It will cost around $25- $30.
Next, as we all know, Hwa Chong has come up with a damn cool "all black with a bit of yellow n red" jacket. we were thinking if we want to get this set of jacket for the whole team... like part of our "team jersey". Then yea we can like lol wear it before competition/matches and look damn cool as a team like those international teams you see in games(think england's red "jackets") So please pleaseee get one and we can own as a team! cost for now is $25 but who knows if we get it in bulk we may cut the price down!
So if you want to order any of the above, pls reply to the message in the following message as follows:
"Name: Chris Jack
Old Boys Shirt: Yes
HC Jacket: Yes"
Finally, yes Training is resuming this thursday, 3rd July, 4.00pm Side Field. As usual start at 4pm, means warmed up and all ready by 4.00pm. So yap, see you on thursday!
regards
alex.

hi guys
the past videos have all focused on continuity and backs play and all, but there's also the unseen side of forward play that is so crucial to the game. here are a couple of videos showing you that forwards play, esp. the loose forwards, also takes a tremendous amount of skill too.
so for the future loose forwards to come (read: judokas, and other aspiring people), watch carefully.
and here's a tribute to richie mccaw. possibly the best open side flanker in the world:
cheers!
